Located at 12 Pierrepont Street in Bath, Yak Yeti Yak is a culinary gem that transports diners to the vibrant flavors of Nepal. This family-run restaurant has cultivated a loyal following over the years, consistently delivering an authentic experience that highlights the rich cultural heritage of Nepalese cuisine. From the moment you walk through the door, the cozy decor, warm atmosphere, and inviting aroma of spices set the stage for a delightful meal.
Their diverse menu features an array of dishes that cater to meat lovers and plant-based eaters alike. For starters, I highly recommend the Mixed Vegetable Pakora, where crispy chickpea-battered vegetables are paired beautifully with fresh tomato chutney. Alternatively, the Pork Momos—delicately spiced dumplings—will surely captivate your palate. Each dish from the starters to the set mains is thoughtfully prepared with a balance of spices that is truly remarkable.
Among the standout mains, the Yak Yeti Yak Lamb is a must-try; tender pieces of lamb are marinated with garlic and turmeric, cooked to perfection with fresh tomatoes and spring onions. Equally enticing is the Plant-Based Set Main, Pharsi Ra Kalo Channa, featuring butternut squash and braised black chickpeas. It's a celebration of flavors that even non-vegans will appreciate.
What sets Yak Yeti Yak apart is not just the food but also the experience itself. Diners have the option to sit at regular tables or on comfortable cushions on the floor, enhancing the authentic Nepalese ambiance. Great place. Hidden away but well worth a visit. Terrific food and service. Happy to recommend as a venue for a good value meal.

Lived in Bath since 1999 and this place has been ever present though it used to be in another location, I digress... The longevity shows what a wonderful experience dining here is and the quality and atmosphere had faltered in all that time. Oop ate all the food before remembering to take a photo!

Loved the place. First time ever trying a nepal cusine. Food was really tasty and staffs were very good and helpful as well. The restuarant is quiet busy, told they ran out of stock some deserts due to unexpected busyness. Sat on the cushioned floor, which may not be convenient for people who are not used to it, I didn't had any isue since I am used to sitting on floor. Would go back again.

Cosy restaurant under a busy street in bath. It is well decorated on the inside. The staff were polite and happy to talk us through items on their menu. The food and portion sizes were very good, and I liked how aromatic it was.

We’ve been coming to Yak Yeti Yak in Bath for years, and it never disappoints. The food is always incredible—the quality and flavors are on another level, and the service is top-notch. Highly recommend it! Dining here feels like a little escape to Nepal. The atmosphere is amazing—you can sit at regular tables or relax on cushions on the floor (our personal favorite!). The dishes served on copper plates are packed with authentic, perfectly balanced flavors that just melt in your mouth. The staff is super friendly, and the vibe is always so warm and welcoming. Yeti Yak is one of the oldest family-run spots in Bath, and it’s clear why it’s been around for so long. A true gem, and I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Absolutely love this restaurant. I've been going here for years. The food is excellent. I particularly like that they offer different spice levels, which is great when you're taking family who have varying spice tolerances. Everything I've eaten there has been amazing! The service is lovely and friendly. Highly recommend!

A Must-Visit Every Time We’re in Bath! We’ve dined here twice now, and both times the food, atmosphere, and service have been absolutely amazing. After our first visit, we said we'd definitely come back the next time we were in Bath—and we're so glad we did, because it did not disappoint. The quality and consistency are genuinely impressive. From the warm welcome to the beautifully prepared dishes, everything about our experience has been top-notch. Honestly, I can say this is my favourite restaurant, hands down. We’re already looking forward to returning on our next trip to Bath!
